The history of the Daewoo car manufacturing company dates back some time ago, but Daewoo made their debut in the United States of America in 1999 with three different models of cars, the Lanos, Nubira and Leganza. Some reviews of the Daewoo Lanos have been both positive and some negative. To start with, most people seem to agree on the positive features the Lanos offer, including the great gas mileage and low end sticker price. Most say that for the money you pay you get a great in town car that is very fuel efficient. Although compact, this car has been said to offer great handling and decent power for a smaller engine and many love its sportier looking body style. Some negative comments made about the Lanos have been that the car does not go very fast, with the average top speeds maxing out in the 90-95 mph range and that replacement parts for these cars can be quite expensive.
