Striking view of a shiny yellow Lamborghini in Austrian Alps. It takes Murcielago only 3.8 secs to reach 60 miles per hour speed. A long awaited Lamborghini evolution successor comes to replace the famous Diablo supercar. 6.2-liter DOHC V-12 engine is good for 571 horsepower output accompanied with Lamborghini´s first-ever 6-speed manual transmission gearbox. This is a all-wheel driven supercar, where the torque is split between the rear and the front on ratio 70% rear : 30% front. One of the most interesting electronic technologies used in this Lamborghini sports car is Variable Airflow Cooling System. Air intaking ducts raise when maximum cooling is necessary and lower when possible to reduce the aerodynamic drag.

2009 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder

Various sources are reporting that the Italian manufacturer is has the Lamborghini URUS in the works. The Lamborghini URUS is going to be above the Murcielago’s replacement, the Jota.
The carmaker aims to put the Lamborghini URUS on the same level as Ferrari’s FX70, which will be the next Enzo. The word is the Lamborghini URUS will be powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine with a power output of around 800 hp which will probably put it in the below 3.0 seconds to 100 km/h league. The top speed is expected to be way over the 300 km/h mark.

Lamborghini Diablo Sports New

The Lamborghini Diablo is a high-performance mid-engined sports car built by Italian automaker Lamborghini between 1990 and 2001. It was the first Lamborghini capable of attaining a top speed in excess of 200 miles per hour (320 km/h). After the end of its production run in 2001, the Diablo was replaced by the Lamborghini Murciélago.

The Lamborghini Miura

The Lamborghini Miura is a sports car produced by Italian automaker Lamborghini between 1966 and 1972. The car is widely considered to have begun the trend of high performance, two-seater, mid-engined sports cars.[3] While the mid-engined layout had been used successfully in competition in cars such as the Ford GT40 and Ferrari 250 LM at Le Mans, the Miura was the first viable road car sporting the layout.

2009 Lamborghini Murcielago Sports

latest supercar to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. The quarter mile comes just a few beats later — 11.4 seconds at 126.9 mph. Both numbers are pretty far off the pace of Lamborghini’s estimates of 3.7 and 11.8 seconds. Who knew Italians could be so conservative?
Inside the low-roofed cabin, the LP560-4’s attempt to violate Newton’s second law is a comprehensive assault on the senses. Getting kicked in the ass a split second before being shot from a cannon is probably the closest approximation. The only thing missing is the taste of cordite upon the lips.
Thrust mode is impressive not just at mere sports car speeds; unlike the previous Gallardo launch control system that required manually shifting the gears, a Thrust-moded Gallardo LP560-4 will autorocket through all six gears on the way to a terminal velocity of 202 mph.
Just what you’d expect from a $201,000 supercar, right? Wait, there’s more…

Lamborghini Murcielago Racer 2009

In a continuation of Lamborghini's tradition of giving its cars names from the world of bullfighting, the Murciélago was named for a fighting bull that survived 28 sword strokes in an 1879 fight against Rafael "El Lagartijo" Molina Sanchez, at the Coso de los califas bullring in Córdoba, Spain. Murciélago fought with such passion and spirit that the matador chose to spare its life, a rare honor. The bull, which came from Joaquin del Val di Navarra's farm, was later presented as a gift to Don Antonio Miura, a noted local breeder; thus began the famed Miura line of fighting bulls, which provided the name for one of Lamborghini's first great cars.
